A while back, Tim, Elyse and I went to visit Waipi'o Valley again and what do you know! The sun was shining this time. It was gorgeous. We did the 4WD down into the valley again but this time we decided to go to the beach. It was really beautiful. There were a lot of large smooth stones and people had made a lot of cairns (something you will see all over this island.) I'm really pleased with how the pictures turned out this time, but still I'm not quite sure if they do the valley justice! It's breathtaking and I've had a harder time capturing it's beauty than I expected.
This was a really wide river that was joining up with the ocean and was flowing heavily after a lot of rain.
The waterfall was flowing this time!! So pretty.
I always seem to catch a sunset on my way home. :)
