Let's start with my cats since they make me happy. Here's Mowsie-Moo. She's so funny because she has these eyes that look angry but yet she is the sweetest most affectionate cat I've ever known.
This is a shot that I took a while back when we were snorkeling in Kohala, and I had fun doing pretty things with it on my computer.
And a picture from another snorkeling trip we took down south... it was very gloomy and overcast that day.
Crab on a rock!
And some beautiful flowers. It's funny, the day that I was taking a picture of these lotus flowers was really my first experience with some mean locals. I tend to get excited and grab my camera whenever I see something pretty. These were in downtown Hilo and so I hopped out of the car to take a few pictures.
As I was walking back I got the evil "stink eye" from a local who was clearly thinking something like "Stupid tourist. Go back to the mainland and leave us our island." lol. The amount of venomous hatred that they directed at me because I wanted to capture something pretty was rather amazing to me. What a way to poison your body and soul over nothing. Besides, I'm a photographer - it doesn't matter where I live, I will always be a tourist! :)
And the view out of our living room window, because I like the tree that's outside and overlaps from one window to another. It reminds me of three art panels.
The rest of these pictures are from when we drove to various places and stopped along the side of the road. The fields of gorgeous yellow flowers are the scenery along Saddle Road. So beautiful!
The clouds over here are always incredible. I never get tired of taking pictures of them because they are constantly doing new things!
And last but not least, I leave you with another shot of the sun low in the sky, making everything magical.
